The Seasons of Spirit
The
seasons of spirit move like the seasons of earth. One gracefully
unfolds unto the next until a cycle is complete and all things
are brought forward, more evolved, more conscious, closer to
God. Nature makes her rounds once a year. Spirit can cover the
ground in just a day. The winter, cold, dark and dreary, happens
at any time when you are struck with fear or overcome with doubt.
Spring happens at the moment you get a peak beyond them. Summer
is the moment of surrender when a Sabbath peace returns to restore
your soul. Fall occurs when you’re back in the saddle again,
ready to ride into life with renewed confidence. Sometimes winter
is long and exceptionally cold. Sometimes grace lingers in a
beautiful Indian summer. Nothing is set in stone, not even stone.
The cycles of change are merely God's way to show us the infinite
array of possibilities so that we may be prepared, when our
time comes, to recognize and embrace the emergence of our own
spirit. Things flow. They are urged tenderly by time until their
immortal essence is revealed. God's hand reaches into time and
space to touch everyone. When your time comes, and has it not
already come, you will understand your sacred purpose under
the heaven. The universe will sweep you into her grand design
that you may carry out that which you are given to do. It will
open out a way, open up the time, and grant you unlimited resources
so that you may carry out the Lord's will in concert with the
everlasting cycle of life divine.
